Retorts are made of laboratory-grade Borosilicate and may be heated over flame. This apparatus was originally developed by alchemists to performs simple distillation procedures and is a classic piece of laboratory glassware. ***This apparatus is made of 3.3 Borosilicate Glass. When properly supported the maximum SAFE operating temperature is 520 C

The retorts are in perfect condition and have ground glass tops for quickfit etc
