This Inertia apparatus is designed to demonstrate the principle of inertia. Simply release the plastic ball on top of the Plexiglass square which is set on the vertical post. Release the spring and the square shoots out. The ball falls into the concave recession in the post, remaining at rest on top of the post as if nothing happened. Excellent for use in physics demonstrations!
